I'm very excited to have a Wiki on Wikia. Please, please, please start writing if you have any interest in audio recording.

I'm going to post on some common audio recording web forums, and let all the local musicians and engineers I know, know about this project. I'd really like to see if become a resource.

Looks like this site has been sittin dead for a while? maybe look into merging or contributing info to wikirecording.org? it looks to be farther developed than this site but has some drawbacks like ads and such...

I had a look at it. Luckily it's GFDL so the two wikis are compatible and could merge. However, all of the edits there in the last week were spam, so it doesn't seem like there is a community on either site to really turn this topic into a successful wiki just yet. Perhaps there's a wiki on a broader topic that the two could merge into? Wikia has just launched tunes.wikia, a music magazine, so it's possible this content would work there. What do you think?
